Flanders harvests seven 'advanced grants' from ERC
Researchers from KU Leuven have been awarded five "advanced grants" from the European Research Council (ERC), the organization's most prestigious fellowships. One of the five works at VIB. Researchers from Ghent University and UAntwerp were also successful, each with one grant. These all have a value of 2.5 million euros. The UK achieved the highest number of grants (51), followed by Germany (40), France (22) and the Netherlands (17).
