OECD: Flemish students take too long to complete their bachelor’s studies
Only 1 in 3 Flemish students completes a Bachelor's programme in the intended duration. Abroad, this is generally better, according to the OECD report 'Education at a glance 2019'. In French-speaking Belgium the figure is 27%. In a recent article by De Morgen, the rectors Herman Van Goethem (UAntwerp) and Luc Sels (KU Leuven) say that universities are taking more and more measures to make so-called study progress easier.
