Veroniek Collewaert

Veroniek Collewaert is a Full Professor of Entrepreneurship at Vlerick Business School and KU Leuven. She founded the Vlerick Scaleup Centre and is also co-founder and academic director of the European Scaleup Institute. Her focus is on the growth challenges of young companies, with specific attention to the human and financial factors. She coaches scaleups in terms of business model scalability and innovation, and HR policy (culture, organizational structure, recruitment). She serves/has served on several boards of directors and advisory boards (e.g., River Cleanup, BAN Vlaanderen, Teamleader, European Startup Nations Alliance). Additionally, she is also the Master’s Director at Vlerick, responsible for all Master programs, and is an Editor at the Journal of Business Venturing (FT 50 entrepreneurship journal).
