Report and lessons learned from exciting VARIO mission to Estonia and Lithuania

It is a tradition that VARIO goes on annual study trips with the aim of gaining inspiration and experience abroad, learning about good practices, ... that help formulate advisory reports. These study tours are alternately closer to home and intercontinental. For instance, there have already been missions to the US on AI, to China and the Netherlands, and last year to Singapore to learn and draw inspiration from research, innovation and entrepreneurship policies. This year, Lithuania and Estonia were on the agenda, with a focus on the vibrant start-up and scale-up landscape and digitalisation.
