Accessibility statement

The Flemish Advisory Council for Innovation and Entrepreneurship strives to make its website accessible, in accordance with the administrative decree of 7 December 2018 transposing European Directive 2016/2102.

This accessibility statement applies to the Vario.be website and was drawn up by the VARIO staff on 30 May 2023.

The website has not yet been tested for web accessibility by an external party, because we are still working on this new website. The status and points for attention listed below are therefore estimates that have not yet been validated.

This website is partially compliant with WCAG 2.1 level AA, as the requirement(s) below are not met.

Non-accessible content

Certain parts of our Vario.be website are not yet sufficiently accessible:

• Images and other non-text content
  For certain images and other non-textual content, no textual alternative is yet available. Retesting is done on a regular basis to supplement these.
• Video content
  Not all videos have subtitles, audio description or a transcript yet.
• Pdf files
  Downloaded from our website may cause accessibility issues.
