AWTI-VARIO-RFTE Workshop in The Hague on Transformative Innovation Policy

On January 31, 2023, a joint workshop was held in The Hague with the Dutch and Austrian sister councils of VARIO, AWTI and RFTE. The workshop was part of VARIO and AWTI's advisory processes on Transformative Innovation Policy, which includes both transition- and mission-oriented innovation policy (VARIO Work program 2023). Reflections included, among other things, the focus and further timing of the advisory processes, the (recent) mission and transition approaches of Austria, Flanders and the Netherlands. The joint benchmark study by VARIO and AWTI was also discussed, with a focus on Sweden and Switzerland.
