Katrin Geyskens

Katrin Geyskens is Partner and a member of the Executive Committee at Capricorn Partners, a Leuven-based pan-European asset manager of venture and equity funds. Within Capricorn, she is responsible for the venture funds investing in both digital applications as well as healthtech. She is active on several boards of portfolio companies of Capricorn. Furthermore, Katrin is an independent member of the supervisory board of EIT Digital and a board member of Guberna. In the past, she served for 10 years on the board of the BVA (Belgian Venture Capital & Private Equity Association), of which Katrin was elected first female president. In 2020, she was named one of Belgium’s ‘Inspiring Fifty’, an award celebrating inspiring female leaders in technology.

Katrin started her career in 1993 as Financial Analyst with CERA Bank (today known as KBC), completed an internship in the Equities Division of Merrill Lynch in London and later worked as Management Consultant with Kearney in Europe and South Africa. After a short stint at a start-up, Katrin became active in venture capital in 2001 by joining Quest Management, which merged with Capricorn Partners at the start of 2012.

Katrin Geyskens graduated as Engineer in Commercial and Business Economics (KU Leuven, Belgium) and obtained an MBA at the Chicago Booth School of Business (USA).
