VARIO staff participated in a focus group on dual use of the Flemish Peace Institute

The Flemish Peace Institute investigates topics such as dual use and arms trade and also advises and informs the Flemish Parliament on these issues. In the future, the institute plans to further expand its research on dual use. It therefore organized four different focus groups on research, development and commercialization of dual-use goods, and the policy and governance around them. The four focus groups were for (1) knowledge institutions, (2) companies, (3) civil society, and (4) government. VARIO participated in the latter.
