VARIO presentation on climate-neutral industry at BBL and Flux50 webinar
Bond Beter Leefmilieu (BBL), in cooperation with spearhead cluster Flux50, organized a successful webinar on Thursday, March 19, 2026 titled “Mission Climate-Neutral Industry: How Can We Make Innovation truly transformative?”
The webinar explored and debated what such a transformative innovation policy could look like in concrete terms. Elie Ratinckx (VARIO) explained with which innovation policy Flanders can accelerate the scaling up of promising climate technologies. Joël Graf from the Swiss Science Council outlined the factors behind the success of the Swiss innovation model. Finally, two entrepreneurs from the energy sector, Geert Raymaekers (CEE) and Tom De Vlo (Qpinch), shared their experiences regarding the opportunities and challenges they encounter in the field.
